Located in the suburban Chicago area, we serve the Chicago area, Northern Illinois, and Indiana. We specialize in planning and improvement objectives to help provide an efficient roofing experience. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator for our Lisle (IL) shop.The Commercial Roofing Estimator will prepare bids and cost estimates for commercial roofing projects. This role reviews plans and specifications, calculates labor and material costs, prepares proposals, and works with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the bidding process.ResponsibilitiesPrepare roofing estimates, bids, and proposalsReview blueprints, specifications, and project documentsPerform material takeoffs and obtain vendor pricingTrack and manage bids from pre-bid through project handoffCoordinate with customers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliersCreate submittals, product documentation, and related project paperworkSupport project management and operations teams as neededQualifications3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experienceAbility to read blueprints and perform takeoffsExperience with estimating software (Edge preferred)Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsKnowledge of roofing systems and manufacturer requirementsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsValid driver's licenseComfortable climbing ladders and accessing rooftopsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBilingual Spanish is a plusIllinois Roofing, a Tecta America Company, offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, etc.
