We are seeking an experienced Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to support projects in Virginia Beach. This individual will serve as the primary onsite safety representative and be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing all project safety requirements in accordance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA standards, and site-specific safety plans. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting federal construction projects, possess strong knowledge of EM 385 requirements, and be capable of independently managing all safety functions on an active renovation project.
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
